A new report from Credit Suisse shows just how staggering the current level of financial inequality really is.

45.8 percent of the global household wealth is in the hands of just 1.1 percent of the world’s population.

Those 56 million individuals control a mind-boggling US$191.6 trillion.

On the other side, 2.9 billion people, or 55 percent of the world’s population, share a combined wealth of just US$5.5 trillion.
